A strong earthquake hit Nepal on Friday night, causing significant devastation. This earthquake, with a magnitude of 6.4, has resulted in several buildings collapsing. At least 128 people have lost their lives due to this powerful earthquake. Many people have been seriously injured and admitted to hospitals for treatment. Officials say that the number of casualties could increase. The reason for so many deaths is that the earthquake struck while people were sleeping in their homes. They had no chance to take cover. If it had occurred during the day, the damage would have been less severe. The earthquake has also caused buildings to shake in parts of India, including Delhi, Lucknow, and Patna.
